In 2010, Carrasco moved to Monaco from Belgian club Genk. On 30 July 2012, he made his professional debut against Tours in the opening game of the Ligue 2 season, scoring a free kick in a 4–0 victory at the Stade Louis II. He scored both goals in a 2–0 league victory over Auxerre on April 13, 2013. He participated in 27 games and scored six goals in his first season with the club, as Monaco gained promotion back to Ligue 1.

His first goal in the Ligue 1 came against Saint-Étienne on October 5, 2013, when he converted a James Rodrguez cross to propel Monaco to a 2–1 victory.
