Between the years 2009 and 2014, Mohammed Al-Breik was a member of the Al-Hilal youth academy. In 2014, he was elevated to the first team, and the following year, he departed on loan.

On the 29th of January 2015, Al-Raed was permitted to borrow Al-Break. He was a big reason why Al-Raed was able to stay in the League by boosting their point total to 18 and getting them out of the relegation zone.

It was on the 20th of October, 2015, against Al-Ta’awon that Al-Breik scored his first goal. After that, Al-Breik was victorious in the competition for the Crown Prince Cup. Although Al-Breik scored his second goal against Al-Hilal in the Super Cup 2016, the team ultimately fell short in the shootout. He established a working relationship with the manager of Al-Hilal, Ramón Dáz. He was victorious in both the league and the King Cup in the 2016–2017 season.

On November 4, 2015, he was chosen to be a member of the national football squad for the qualification matches for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
In May of 2018, he was selected for the preliminary squad that Saudi Arabia would send to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
