In 2002, he joined the Corinthians youth team and began his professional football career there. He made his professional debut for Corinthians on February 18, 2012, in a 1-0 win over Sao Caetano. He appeared in eight games for Corinthians, who finished first in the regular season but were knocked out of the play-offs by Ponte Preta in the quarter-finals.
