In January 2014, Ramon Diaz called up Boyé for River Plate’s pre-season in Salta. On 29 January 2014, he made his unofficial debut at the Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena in Salta, replacing Jonathan Fabbro 23 minutes into the second half in a friendly against San Lorenzo de Almagro. River Plate was defeated 1–3 by San Lorenzo.

Soon after, he returned to the first team for another friendly, this time against the San Luis provincial team, entering at the start of the second half to replace Daniel Villalba in a 3–1 victory for River Plate. In the final event of the 2013–14 Copa Argentina, he made his official debut against Ferro, which River Plate won 6–5 in a penalty shootout.

On the first day of the 2014 Torneo de Transición, he made his debut in the Argentine Primera División, drawing 1–1 with Gimnasia y Esgrima. Boyé scored his first goal in the Primera División four days later, on August 31, off an assist from Tomas Martinez, in a 3–1 River victory over San Lorenzo.

He signed a four-year contract with Torino on 1 February 2016, with the first season beginning in July 2016. He spent four seasons there, making 47 appearances and scoring three goals.

On January 31, 2018, he was loaned to Celta Vigo in Spain. Boyé was loaned to AEK during the 2018–19 season. He scored his first goal for the club in a 4–0 home win over Aris Thessaloniki on October 28, 2018. On February 23, 2019, he scored his first career brace, securing a 2–1 home win over Apollon Smyrnis.

Boyé was signed on a season-long loan from Torino by English Championship club Reading on August 2, 2019. On September 25, 2019, he scored his first goal for Reading in an EFL Cup match against Wolverhampton Wanderers. He did, however, miss a penalty in the shootout in the same game, which Reading eventually lost.

Elche, a freshly promoted La Liga team, announced on September 21, 2020, that Boyé has joined them on a loan with a purchase option. Elche declared on May 13, 2021, that they had exercised their option to Boyé. In his club career, he has made 241 appearances and scored 31 goals.
