In January 2014, Ramon Diaz called up Boyé for River Plate’s pre-season in Salta. On 29 January 2014, he made his unofficial debut at the Estadio Padre Ernesto Martearena in Salta, replacing Jonathan Fabbro 23 minutes into the second half in a friendly against San Lorenzo de Almagro. River Plate was defeated 1–3 by San Lorenzo.
Soon after, he returned to the first team for another friendly, this time against the San Luis provincial team, entering at the start of the second half to replace Daniel Villalba in a 3–1 victory for River Plate.
