Jordi Alba’s nationality is Spanish. He was born in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, a district of Barcelona famous for its people’s passion for football.

Alba’s Parents were both football fans and helped their son in the early stages of his footballing journey. When he turned 7, His parents enrolled him into their hometown local club, Hospitals. One of his favorite recollections from this time was being welcomed to the table of Barcelona coach Luis Van Gaal in a ceremony and conversing with the legendary Dutch manager about football.
