Llorente, who was born in Madrid, joined Real Madrid’s development system in July 2002, only a month before his ninth birthday. He made his senior debut in the 2012–13 season, playing for the C squad in a 1–1 away draw against Caudal Deportivo in Segunda División B.

Llorente made his Real Madrid Castilla debut on March 24, 2013, when he came on as a replacement for the injured Iván González in a 4–0 home win over Córdoba CF. On December 5, he made his Premier League debut, replacing the injured Robin Koch in the ninth minute of a 3–1 away loss to Chelsea.
