Dante Vanzeir is a Belgian professional footballer who currently plays as a winger for Union SG and the Belgium national team. Vanzeir is a K.R.C. Genk youth representative. When he was eleven years old, he began playing in Genk’s youth sector. On September 18, 2016, he made his Belgian Pro League debut against R.S.C. Anderlecht in a 0–2 home defeat. After 81 minutes, he came on to replace Leon Bailey. He made only 9 appearances and scored 2 goals in three seasons with Genk.

Vanzeir was loaned to Beerschot Wilrijk in the 2018-19 season where he made 39 appearances and scored 16 goals for the club. Again, he was loaned to Mechelen for the 2019-20 season where he made 18 appearances and scored 3 goals in a season.

Genk confirmed on July 30, 2020, that Vanzeir had been sold to Union Saint-Gilloise, with whom he had signed a deal until the summer of 2023. On March 13, 2021, he and Union won the Belgian First Division B title, marking Union’s return to the Belgian top flight after 48 years. Vanzeir shared the Union title with the club’s top scorer and the competition’s (co-) top scorer, with 19 league goals.

Vanzeir provided an assist for the game-winning goal in the Brussels derby against RSC Anderlecht on July 25, 2021, his first day back in the Jupiler Pro League. Union eventually won 1–3.
