Aymeric Jean Louis Gérard Alphonse Laporte (born 27 May 1994) is a Spanish footballer who plays as a center-back for Manchester City in the Premier League and for the national team of Spain. He formerly played for Athletic Bilbao and Basconia.

Laporte is a left-footed defender who prefers to play on the left side of the defense. He is a very versatile player who can also play fullback if necessary. Laporte first arrived in Bilbao in 2010, joining Athletic’s junior system at Lezama, sparking local discussion over whether his signing fit the policy’s criteria due to his fragile ties to the Basque region.
