Like his two brothers, Mac Allister began his career at Club Social y Deportivo Parque before entering the Argentinos Juniors development system.

In a 0–0 Primera B Nacional home draw against Central Córdoba on October 30, 2016, he made his professional debut as a second-half substitute for Iván Colman.

In a 1–0 loss at San Lorenzo on November 25, 2017, Mac Allister and his two brothers played together for the first time; Alexis and Francis were starters, while Kevin came in as a substitute.

On March 5, 2018, he scored his first goal in the top flight, opening the scoring in a 2–0 home defeat against Boca Juniors.

On March 10, 2017, Mac Allister scored his first professional goal in a 2–1 away loss to Instituto.
